Turpin High School offers two Jazz bands for student participation, Jazz Ensemble and Swingin' Spartans.
Jazz EnsembleParticipation is based on student acceptance through application and audition. This elite band will perform at school functions and will travel to off campus locations for performances. Swingin' SpartansParticipation is open to all students that play a jazz instrument and are interested in learning jazz music style and performance. Rehearsals will begin in late November and will be held every Monday from 2:30 to 4:00 in room C309.
